No, your eyes aren't deceiving you: that's Jane Fonda and Alan Rickman made up to look just like Ronald and Nancy Reagan in the '80s alongside Oprah Winfrey. It's all for a new movie called The Butler, and the proof is in the pudding.
Oprah tweeted the Instagram of her on the set alongside the venerable actors and director Lee Daniels (Precious, The Paperboy), writing, "Director @LeeDaniels , @JaneFonda as Nancy Reagan , Alan Rickman as Prez Reagan and me gonna be a long nit."
Oprah plays Gloria Gaines, the wife of the title character Cecil Gaines, who is played by Forest Whitaker and inspired by the real-life White House butler Eugene Allen.
Charting the life and observations of a butler that has served eight American Presidents over the course of three decades, The Butler has an incredible cast that includes John Cusack as Richard Nixon, Robin Williams as Dwight Eisenhower, James Marsden as JFK, Minka Kelly as Jackie Kennedy, Liev Shreiber as Lyndon Johnson, plus Lenny Kravitz, Alex Pettyfer, Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Mariah Carey.
