Tom Cruise Talks Crazy 'Mission: Impossible' Stunts: 'I Was Scared Sh*tless'

Tom Cruise might be 52 years old, but he's not slowing down for a second. If anything, his movie stunts are getting even crazier!

The action superstar appeared at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday and revealed all new, exciting footage from the upcoming Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, according to The Hollywood Reporter

The presentation, which featured Cruise and his M:I 5 co-stars Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson, included an inside look at the mind-blowing stunt that involved Cruise hanging off the side of an airplane as it took flight.

The staggering sequence was accomplished by tying the A-list actor to the plane with a rope, and then ascending to 5,000 feet with the star hanging on for dear life.

"As always, I will do everything I can to entertain an audience and put as many people into your theaters," Cruise told the convention goers during the presentation.

Although the star, who's well-known for doing his own stunts, admitted that this particular instance was massively intimidating.

"I was scared sh*tless," Cruise confessed before adding, "I'm an aerobatic pilot and I've always wanted to do that."

Cruise, who has lead the Mission: Impossible film franchise since its beginning in 1996, also said that making the series has been very enjoyable.

"Here we are at number five almost 20 years later, it's really a dream come true," he told the crowd.
