Madonna Calls Kanye West the 'Black Madonna'
Madonna gave Kanye West the ultimate compliment when she compared the 37-year-old rapper to herself.
"Kanye is the new Madonna," the 56-year-old pop icon told New York Daily News. "Kanye is the black Madonna."

Further explaining her proclamation, she added, "We know, and recognize, that we have that in common. We're comrades in the envelope-pushing genre."

Like West -- who has a producer credit on Madonna's album Rebel Heart for the track "Illuminati"-- Madonna has faced lots of controversy as a public figure, and according to her, that will never change. "People have always judged me, and given me s**t about one thing or another," she said. "Now they're giving me s**t about age."
