Chris Brown's Rep Calls Tabloid Article 'Totally Fictitious'

In their July 25 issue, Star magazine reported that Chris Brown used homophobic slurs while playing basketball in Los Angeles, a report that Brown's reps now claim to be false.

"The incident described did not occur," the rep tells ET. "Nor did the Star ever contact Chris' representatives to request comment or confirmation. Chris was filming a video with AceHood on June 29 and never left the set."

The singer's management is now weighing whether they should take legal action against the tabloid, saying, "We stand behind our client and want to set the record straight that this did not happen."
