Reese Witherspoon celebrated her new movie Wild's world premiere with Oprah at the 41st Telluride Film Festival last night. She shared this snap from the festival in Colorado.
The caption on this photo says, "Celebrating #WILDmovie with Laura Dern @oprah @cherylstrayed #sograteful #someonepinchme."
Wild is based on the best-selling nonfiction book by Cheyl Strayed about her decision to hike more than a thousand miles on the Pacific Crest Trail all on her own after years of destructive behavior.
Witherspoon plays the role of Strayed, and she also co-produced the film. According to Variety, the pre-screening buzz from the festival is gaining the actress some serious attention, "She offers a tour de force performance that moves her solidly into the Oscar race in the best actress category."
Back in 2006, Reese won an Academy Award for best actress in a lead role as June in Walk The Line.
For now, Reese was just excited that the premiere was in Telluride as she said by showing more of the beauty of the location.
According to their web site, this year, "TFF will screen 85 feature films, short films and revivals representing twenty-eight countries, along with special artist tributes, conversations, panels, education programs and festivities."
