The Force is with us once more, just like Star Wars promised.


The Star Wars: The Force Awakens
trailer is finally here, and it goes back to good vs. evil basics asking, "There has been an awakening-have you felt it? The dark side, and the light."

The trailer gives a first glimpse at the new stars. A continuation of the saga created by George Lucas and directed by J.J Abrams, original series stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford are back in their roles and are joined by a new cast including Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver and Domhnall Gleeson and Lupita Nyong'o

Though it's only 88 seconds, we do see Hans Solo's Falcon soar and the light saber buzz and -- let's be honest,  just hearing the theme song is enough to get excited.

Twitter account sent a message that the trailer would be posted on Friday on iTunes after Lucasfilm initially announced that the early 88-second tease would only be seen in 30 theaters across the country.
