As the Republican presidential candidates debated in Ohio on Thursday night, young celebrities were making their way to the Hollywood Hills for a fundraising event for Hillary Clinton.

Kim Kardashian posted a selfie on the way to the soiree that was hosted by talent manager Scooter Braun, whose roster includes big names like Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. It’s not surprising that one attendee told The Hollywood Reporter that "the event has an emphasis on young Hollywood."
"Excited to be meeting our next President tonight!!" Kim captioned her pic. "Maybe she'll take a selfie with me!"

The reality star got her wish, snapping a selfie with the presidential hopeful and husband Kanye West.
"I got my selfie!!!" Kim exclaimed on the Instagram pic. "I really loved hearing her speak & hearing her goals for our country!"

Kim has been vocal about her support for Hillary in the past. When she spoke at The Commonwealth Club of California in early July, the reality star was asked if she thought Clinton should be the United States’ first female president.
Her response? "I hope so!"
