Anton Yelchin's Parents Pen Touching Thank You to Fans
Anton Yelchin's parents are showing their appreciation for his fans and co-stars' support following the 27-year-old actor's untimely death last month.
Viktor and Irina Yelchin shared their thanks with a full-page ad in The Hollywood Reporter, featuring a black-and-white photograph of their late son, above a touching message of gratitude.

"Thank you to all of you who have sent flowers and gifts, for your condolences and kind words and to all who came to celebrate the life of our dear son, Anton," their message reads. "We are deeply grateful for your unconditional love for [him]. He would be surprised at how many hearts and souls he touched. Thank you very much."

Anton was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1989 and was Viktor and Irina's only child. He was just six months old when his parents, former professional pairs figure skaters who qualified for the 1972 Olympics, moved the family to America as refugees.
The Star Trek star was killed on June 19 in a freak car accident outside his home in Los Angeles. In the wake of his death, many of his former co-stars and friends shared touching messages of love and condolences.

Earlier this month, director Drake Doremus, who worked with Anton in the acclaimed 2011 romantic drama Like Crazy, opened up with ET about the talented actor's life and legacy.
"Anton was so special and so unique, and so funny," Doremus shared. "There's just nobody like him, and to lose him so soon is a huge tragedy for industry and for filmmaking." Check out the video below for more from the celebrated director.
