Ronda Rousey's ready for a comeback.
The former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion is scheduled to fight Amanda Nunes, in what will be the 29-year-old mixed martial artist's first match since her heartbreaking loss to Holly Holm in Melbourne, Australia, last November.
Rousey shared a video on Twitter confirming her return, writing, "#ufc207 #FeartheReturn #Dec30th #RouseyvsNunes."
Meanwhile, UFC president Dana White tweeted, "Ronda's BACK!!! Nunes vs Rousey Friday Dec 30 on PPV!!!!!! #UFC207."
And Rousey's opponent also seems fired up for the fight, taking to Twitter shortly after it was announced, writing, "BOOM ? NUNES vs ROUSEY #UFC207."
The night before New Year's Eve match will surely be a spectacle, given that it's Rousey's chance to reclaim her title after a loss the fighter has admitted in several interviews took quite a toll.
"Honestly, like, my thought, in the medical room, down in the corner, I was like, 'What am I anymore if I'm not this?'" Rousey candidly shared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February, fighting back tears. "And I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself, and that exact second I'm like, 'I'm nothing, what do I do anymore, and no one gives a s**t about me anymore without this.'"
