Norman Reedus Teases 'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Premiere's Big Death
People will be kicking their television's when the new season of The Walking Dead returns.
Norman Reedus appeared on The Tonight Show on Thursday to talk about the much-anticipated seventh season of TWD.
Fans were left in a state of shock after the season six finale, when the show's villainous character, Negan, played by Jeffery Dean Morgan, apparently killed…somebody.
"I imagine a lot of people will be kicking their television sets," Reedus said of the premier. "It’s heavy, it’s really, really heavy."
Reedus says he's constantly being asked to share spoilers by almost every person he meets. "Cops, firemen, TSA agents, flight attendants…people who could throw me in jail if I didn’t tell them," he said.
The 47-year-old actor isn't the only one who thinks season seven is going to shock viewers. When the cast of Walking Dead took the stage at Comic-Con in July, Jeffery Dean Morgan, 50, explained that the new season could be a game changer.
"I think next year is going to be different," he said during a press conference. "I think next year is going to be a salute of middle fingers and language next year when I come out onstage."
Dean Morgan also promised that season seven would answer "Who died?" question that’s on everyone’s mind.
"When season seven kicks off, it's going to kick off directly from where we left it last night," he said. "You're going to see who was at the end of that bat and what happens from there."
