Back in March, "The Biggest Loser: Couples"' Gregory "Dane" Patterson made headlines when it was revealed that he hadn't really finished the marathon that he was seen completing on the "Where Are They Now?" portion of the NBC series. This past Saturday in Nashville, Dane made good on his promise to make amends by finishing the Country Music Marathon.

"I'm so excited that I was able to redeem myself and complete this marathon," Patterson says. "I feel as though this has been a personal milestone for me and an amazing experience here in Nashville."

Patterson completed the marathon with a time of 5 hours, 47 minutes and 20 seconds. Blaine Cotter, Patterson's cousin and "Biggest Loser" partner, ran alongside his cousin and completed the 26.2-mile course in the exact same time.

"I'm so glad I could be here to encourage my cousin and support this amazing event," Cotter says. "The Country Music Marathon is an awesome event."

Dane, of course, will be returning for "The Biggest Loser" finale on Tuesday, May 12 at 8 p.m. on NBC. And with a weight loss of more than 142 pounds, he is a serious competitor for the at-home prize of $100,000.

He told ET back in March: "I am working very hard to get that," he says. "I am back at work as a real estate appraiser, so I am actually at a desk a lot, but I workout as much as I can before and after work, usually between three to five hours every day. It is a sacrifice I want to make right now leading up to the finale. Hopefully, by the time the finale comes around, I will be at my goal."
