Dwayne Johnson and Jimmy Fallon Pull Off Massive Surprise to Reunite Military Family

Is this the most heartwarming 'Tonight Show' segment ever?

Now that's Christmas cheer!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson appeared on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show on Friday to promote his upcoming Rock The Troops television special and talk about the importance of giving back to the troops, "because we live and enjoy the life we have because of them." However, unbeknownst to the audience -- and most of the Tonight Show staff, too, it turns out -- the towering former wrestling pro also had a much more immediate way of giving back in mind.

Telling Fallon that there was a military family "here tonight" that he wanted to give back to, the two left the stage and walked through the seated audience looking for the right person -- but it was inside the control room behind the audience that they found their target.

What followed was one of the most heartwarming segments of The Tonight Show ever!

The 44-year-old Ballers star introduced himself, adorably, to a very confused Tonight Show producer, Karina Kabalan, an army veteran who has been living apart from her husband, Todd, a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, while he is stationed abroad.

Todd entered from across the room, unseen by Karina until Johnson told her to turn around.

Just try watching the big reveal with dry eyes -- even Fallon wiped away tears as he brought everyone in for a group hug.

Johnson and Fallon both tweeted about the surprise reunion following the airing of the show.

"You're so loved by all your co-workers Karina," the Moana actor wrote. "Grateful to have been a part of this."

"I can't believe we pulled that off. I lost it. #FallonTonight," wrote the Tonight Show host.

One of the Tonight Show writers, Mike DiCenzo, revealed on Twitter how they kept the surprise a secret from Karina, and most of the rest of the staff as well.

"Only like 8 people on our staff knew that this surprise was happening. Top secret to keep it away from Karina, our coordinating producer," he wrote. "This was the cover of the script we used to keep the surprise away from Karina... Great job by our staff to keep it secret. #FallonTonight"

After watching that, we all could do with a group hug!
