After a brief hiatus from the spotlight, Demi Lovato is back with brand new music all her own, and she’s not sorry. The 24-year-old pop princess dropped her new single, “Sorry Not Sorry,” at midnight on Tuesday, and the badass anthem is sure to have you dancing your Tuesday blues away.

“Now I’m out here looking like revenge, feeling like a 10, the best I ever been. And yeah, I know, how bad it must hurt to see me like this, but it gets worse,” she teases in the opening lyric.

Lovato, who has picked some public fights with several stars like Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Kathy Griffin over the past year, went on to get even sassier in the chorus. “Now payback is a bad b**ch, and baby, I’m the baddest. You f**king with a savage, can’t have this, can’t have this. And it’d be nice for me to take it easy on ya, but nah. Baby I’m sorry, I’m not sorry," she sings. "Being so bad got me feeling so good. Showing you up, like I knew that I would. Feeling inspired ‘cause the tables have turned. Yeah, I’m on fire, and I know that it burns.”

Though the up-tempo tune is Lovato’s first solo single in a while, the Disney alum has released several collaborations recently, including “No Promises” with Cheat Codes and “Introduction” with Jax Jones.

And the new song wasn’t the only surprise the singer gave her Lovatics. She also returned to Tumblr, tweeting, “Thought you’d seen the last of me huh @tumblr??” with a link to the site.

On her page, Lovato has featured a series of new performance pics and behind-the-scenes shots.

Prior to her big drops, the “Confident” singer penned a touching note to her diehard fans, thanking them for sticking by her during her time away.

“Thank you for allowing me to take the time I needed at the end of last year to step away from all the craziness,” she wrote. “I’ll admit, I was worried that people would get upset with me. But what I saw was that instead of getting upset, literally every single one of you wrapped your arms around me and showed me how unwavering your love and support is.”
