Kesha's gradual return to the spotlight is going strong.
The singer performed her newest single, "Woman," at a concert in Iowa last Thursday, to an enthusiastic crowd. "This could suck really, really bad," she warned. "But we're probably going to do it."
Before starting, she thanked the fans in the audience, pacing back and forth, and breaking down in tears before declaring, "I'm a mother f***king woman!" Then, she launched into the empowering anthem and wowed her fans.
"Woman" is the second single off of her upcoming album Rainbow, following her emotional ballad "Praying."
It's been four years since Kesha released new music, her career put on hold by a lengthy legal battle after a filing a lawsuit against record producer and songwriter Dr. Luke that began in 2014. Last August, she dropped the lawsuit in an effort to focus on new music, according to her legal counsel.
Rainbow will be released on August 11. For more on the singer, watch the clip below.
