Charlie Sheen to be Roasted on Same Night as 'Men' Season Premiere

Charlie Sheen will be roasted by Comedy Central later this year, the cable network announced Tuesday, and the roast will air the same day as the season premiere of "Two and a Half Men."

Sheen's roast will be taped September 10 to air September 19. Sheen said of the news, "You could say I've been providing kindling for this Roast for a while. It's time to light it up. It's going to be epic."

Comedy Central exec Kent Alterman commented, "Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast… which scares even us."

Other stars who've been roasted in recent years include David Hasselhoff, Joan Rivers, Pamela Anderson, William Shatner and more.

Sheen was in the news earlier this year when a series of bizarre and inflammatory incidents culminated in his being fired from CBS' hit series "Two and a Half Men." News later broke that Ashton Kutcher would be replacing Charlie on "Two and a Half Men."
