The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics are officially underway -- and so is the gold medal hunt!
From figure skating to snowboarding, alpine skiing to bobsledding, hockey to curling, the best winter athletes from around the world have gathered in China to compete in a record 109 events spanning 15 disciplines across seven sports.
NBCUniversal is the official broadcaster of the 2022 Winter Olympics -- which means that you can tune in to nearly 200 hours of televised coverage live on NBC or through Peacock. USA Network is the official cable home for the Winter Games and will air Olympics coverage from Feb. 2-20.
Team USA is second in the all-time medal count at the Winter Games -- behind only Norway -- with 307 total medals and 105 golds. Athletes like Shaun White, Mikaela Shiffrin, Nathan Chen, Chloe Zhou and more are hoping to help add to that count over the next two weeks.

1. Norway - 37 total medals (16 gold, 8 silver, 13 bronze)
2. ROC - 32 total medals (6 gold, 12 silver, 14 bronze)
3. Germany - 27 total medals (12 gold, 10 silver, 5 bronze)
4. Canada - 26 total medals (4 gold, 8 silver, 14 bronze)
5. USA - 25 total medals (8 gold, 10 silver, 7 bronze)
