'Deadpool 2' Trailer Gives a Shout Out to Blake Lively's 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' Movie

The action sequel hits theaters on May 18.

Ryan Reynolds ever-so-subtly references his wife, Blake Lively, in the highly anticipated Deadpool 2.

In the newly released trailer for the Marvel movie, the anti-hero reveals that he's seen The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which stars Lively, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel.

"Doing the right thing is messy, but if you want to fight for what's right, sometimes you have to fight dirty," Deadpool (Reynolds) declares. "And that is why Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is straight-up pornography."

Pondering the 2005 movie, which follows four girlfriends and their journeys after high school, Domino (Zazie Beetz) says, "God, I wish I finished college."

Another scene also seems to be referencing the two Traveling Pants films, while cleverly comparing it the Deadpool sequel itself.

"It lives up to the hype, plus, plus," he tells Weasel (T.J. Miller), though not naming any movie in particular. "F**k it, they probably won't even make a three," Weasel responds.

"Why would they?" Deadpool exclaims. "Stop at two, you killed it!"

The scene also hints that there may not be a third Deadpool movie.

In addition to the the witty one-liners fans know and expect from Reynolds' character, the trailer also offers a look at mutant bada** Cable (Josh Brolin) and Deadpool's his new "super duper f**king group," which includes Domino, Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and Blind Al (Leslie Uggams).

The action sequel hits theaters on May 18.
