The singer proved she's more than just a mentor to one of the aspiring entertainers who competed on her team!

Miley Cyrus' friendship with #TeamMiley members goes far beyond The Voice.

Janice Freeman, who competed on Cyrus' team during season 13 of the singing competition show, took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, revealing that the 25-year-old singer helped her and her family get on their feet while they searched for permanent housing.

According to Freeman, Cyrus took care of the family's security deposit for a temporary two-bedroom apartment to live in, along with the first six months of rent.

"Miley, you are my dawg, like, my best friend, and I will defend you to the bitter end," Freeman says in the emotional video, which you can watch below. "This woman blessed me to be able to move in. Do you understand? What she don't know is, I've been praying for her."

"I'm so overwhelmed," she adds. "I need y'all to understand that it is time to go into 2018 believing God for real ... Y'all don’t understand that you see these people on TV. You see things happening and all of that. But you don't understand that these people are real. And her heart is so huge. And she allows God to use her to bless my life."

Freeman also took to Twitter, thanking her fans (and Cyrus again!) for their support.

"@MileyCyrus you are one of my closest friends," she wrote. "What you did for me and my family I'm praying GOD gives you the desire of your heart!"
