ET dished with Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams and more about their action-packed detective adventure, 'Sherlock Holmes,' at the film's star-studded New York premiere on Thursday night!

"Over a year ago we started shooting, and we really labored hard. And people are really enjoying it, and that's the big win," said Robert, who was joined on the red carpet by his wife Susan, a producer on the film.

In the big-screen update of the classic detective series, Robert stars as master-sleuth Sherlock Holmes, with Jude playing his trusty sidekick Dr. Watson. "He's such a great guy," Robert said of his co-star.

"We met, we got on very well, and I think we both recognized the same essence of this film," Jude told ET. "Aside from the thrill ride and the action … at its heart is this wonderful kind of domestic drama about these two guys."

"Sometimes it's fun being the only girl," added a smiling Rachel, who plays Robert's love interest. "You get lots of attention and you get doted on."

Also on hand for the premiere were celebs such as Bruce Willis with wife Emma, "Gossip Girl"'s Blake Lively and 'Twilight''s Ashley Greene.
