Another day, another tease!

Taylor Swift is back with her third social media tease of the week!

The 27-year-old pop star took to Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday to reveal the latest piece of her puzzle. After wiping her accounts clean last Friday, she returned to the apps with mysterious, glitchy videos of what appeared to be a slithery reptile.

Well, we can officially confirm it's indeed a snake -- not a dragon, or any of those other mystical creatures fans were calling it -- as the third video shows its head. At the end of the 10-second clip, the animated snake makes direct eye contact with the camera, going in for a vicious bite.

Here's what the snake looks like when pieced together in screenshots:

Fans are speculating that the videos are teasing that new music from Swift is finally on the way. A source close to the singer told Us Weekly that she's planning to drop the lead single off her sixth studio album on Friday.

"The song is poppy," the source told the outlet, adding that the accompanying music video will also be released later this week. "[Taylor's] been very secretive about it, but it's going to be a really good one."

ET caught up with Swift's pal, fellow country music star Kelsea Ballerini, at the ACM Honors on Tuesday. Though she said she doesn't "know anything" about Swift's new album, she said her friend is "so happy" right now.

"I love her," Ballerini, whose second studio album, Unapologetically, drops Nov. 3, gushed. "I'm happy for her."

The ACM Honors air Sept. 15 on CBS. Hear more in the video below!
