2018 Critics' Choice Awards Fashion Trends: Red Carpet Shines Bright With White Gowns

The stars stepped out in a plethora of white ensembles for Thursday's ceremony.

Hollywood's brightest television and movie stars stepped out for the 2018 Critics' Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Thursday.

While Sunday's Golden Globes saw a massive sea of black ensembles on the red carpet to support the Time's Up initiative -- which encouraged attendees to wear black as a way expressing solidarity for sexual harassment victims -- the Critics' Choice Awards were a different story, with many actresses wearing a variety of bright colors, most noticeably white.

Among the stars who donned the ivory tone was Angelina Jolie in a stunning custom-made Ralph & Russo couture silk crêpe asymmetrically draped pencil dress adorned with ostrich feathers.

Kate Bosworth opted for a romantic Brock Collection long-sleeve lace creation featuring an oversized bow on the side. Diane Kruger looked divine in a light ivory silk crepe tiered Vera Wang gown with silver chain mail bodice, draped sleeves and cotton voile structured bustier.

Emma Roberts, with edgy new bangs, looked sleek in a strapless silk gown, and Greta Gerwig was angelic in a pleated Fendi draped dress with a heart on the chest.

Zoe Kazan's white tulle Valentino gown had touches of yellow lace on the sleeves and colorful dots all over. Meanwhile, Sarah Hyland was a total ballerina in a Naeem Khan dress with a full white tulle skirt.
