People of color across film, TV, music and literature are being recognized during a live ceremony on BET.

"Thank you so much, Black people, African Americans and everything else we are!"

So said Jamie Foxx while accepting his NAACP Image Award during Saturday's ceremony. And the 51st annual Image Awards -- which recognizes people of color across film, television, music and more – was a night filled with black excellence, including wins for everyone from Beyoncé and Blue Ivy to Michael B. Jordan to Lizzo.

Just Mercy took home the top film award, while Greenleaf and black-ish won the NAACP's TV awards for drama and comedy, respectively. Rihanna also received the President's Award, while U.S. Congressman and civil rights leader John Lewis (D-Ga.), was honored with the NAACP Chairman's Award.
