The 31-year-old actress posted to Twitter for the first time almost a year on Friday night, to celebrate a girls night out with a couple of friends. Bynes flashes a slight smile in the photo, with her long blonde locks hanging over a chic black leather top.
"Dinner with friends at Girasol?," she captioned the pic.
Bynes gave her first interview in four years last June, sharing that after a troublesome few years -- in which she had several driving violations and hospitalized under a psychiatric hold -- she's been sober for three years.
The former All That star also said she had plans to start acting again, telling Hollyscoop's Diana Madison, "I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of it."
"I've been going to school lately. Fashion school. FIDM [Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising] and I love it," she shared. "I learned how to sew. I've made patterns and I want to start a clothing line in the future."
