While everyone was excited about Brad Pitt presenting Movie of the Year, Brett seemed even more excited about who the World War Z star might bring.

"Maybe his wife will be there, right?" said Brett, keeping his fingers crossed for an appearance by Angelina Jolie, who is actually Brad's fiancee.

"I hope [Angelina is] not there, because I would like to be his wife," joked Jillian. "I'm kidding. I love Angelina."

The awards show's executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic explained how Brad's involvement came to be, simply stating, "He really wanted to be a part of the show this year, and we got him on the biggest award of the night."

As for the Awkward. cast, the MTV high school comedy series is entering its third and most interesting year, according to actors.

"Every year we say, 'Oh, this is the best season yet,' but this is the best season," Jillian promised.

Everyone on the show seems to relate to their characters, but perhaps no one more than Ashley who felt so left out in high school that she fought to finish all her courses three years early.

"I graduated high school at 15," said Ashley. "I was not the most popular kid -- bullying and all that stuff ... That's the thing -- I worked really really hard to get out of high school and now I'm back in it."

Awkward. returns Tuesday, April 16 at 10/9c. The MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Rebel Wilson, air April 14 at 9/8c.
