What Makes the Teen Choice Awards so Cool?

It's been awhile since LL Cool J has been a teenager, but that didn't stop the NCIS: Los Angeles star from taking home the Teen Choice Award for TV Actor - Action on Sunday. The actor explained the appeal of the award show on the blue carpet.

"[Viewers] get to see what current teenagers think cool is," said LL, who showed up for his fourth consecutive nomination. "That's always interesting to people ... I'm like a fly on the wall. It's cool."

Tia Mowry added, "I love coming to this show because that's where you can actually see teens be showcased with their talent ... It makes me feel like a kid again."

With the NCIS: Los Angeles' season premiere set for next month, LL filled ET in on why this season will have fans glued to their seats.

"It's going to be a lot of shocks," LL said. "I think some feelings are going to get hurt, but hopefully people like it. We'll see."

Lily Collins' big project, The Mortal Instruments, already has fans' mouths watering even though the movie doesn't open for another week.

"I'm super honored, excited, humbled and I'm just taking it one step at a time," Collins said of the attention she's garnered for the upcoming film.
