The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has named Sosie Bacon as Miss Golden Globe 2014.
The 21-year-old daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick will assist during the ceremony that is once again being hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
"I am so grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for naming me this year's Miss Golden Globe," said Sosie, who made her acting debut at 11 in the film Lover Boy. "As a young actress who is just beginning my career, it is truly an honor to be a part of such a special night in film and television. I can only hope to continue the legacy and tradition of Miss Golden Globe by following in the footsteps of my predecessors."
Those predecessors include Francesca Eastwood (daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher), Rainey Qualley (daughter of Andie MacDowell), Gia Mantegna (daughter of Joe Mantegna), Rumer Willis (daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis), Laura Dern (daughter of Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern), Joely Fisher (daughter of Connie Stevens and Eddie Fisher), Melanie Griffith (daughter of Tippi Hedren) and more.
The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live coast-to-coast on NBC January 12 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PST.
