Andy Samberg made his call -- Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory will win the 2014 Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Comedy Series.

2014 Golden Globe Nominees Revealed

"You are going to win. So congratulations [Jim], and thanks for saying words about me on camera," joked Samberg upon hearing from Rocsi Diaz that Parsons was a huge fan, and happy for Brooklyn Nine-Nine's nominations.

"It's very satisfying to be acknowledged in any way. We really like it. So we're really happy that people might hear [about the show], and watch it more," added Samberg, before confessing that he never thought the words "Golden Globe nominee" would be used to describe him.

After speaking with ET, Samberg said of his nomination, "This is a bittersweet day for me. On the one hand, I'm grateful to the HFPA for the nomination, and for Brooklyn Nine-Nine to be acknowledged, but on the other hand I auditioned for Sandra Bullock's part in Gravity and didn't get it, so her nomination is some real salt in the actor wound. Onwards and upwards I guess! (Unless you're in space)."

You'll get 'em next time, Andy.

The 71st Golden Globe Awards will air January 12, 2014 on NBC.
