singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who was nominated at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, walked the red carpet before the show began and stopped to talk with ET's Nancy O'Dell and Elvis Duran about living in the spotlight.

"Enjoy it. Enjoy it. Don't feel like you're the victim. You're in this job because you want to be in this job," Sheeran said to O'Dell when asked about the pressures of living with fame, which seems to have other young celebrities acting out. "Enjoy it. That’s what you do it for. If you don't enjoy it, stop doing it."

Sheeran, who was decked out in a sharp, black suit with his late grandfather's tie, also opened up about often being voted "worst dressed" at awards shows and events.

"When I first started going to awards shows, it was before any of the money had come in," Sheeran said, laughing. "So I was just rocking normal jumpers and stuff. And I was always voted worst dressed."

Elvis Duran asked Sheeran if he missed the days before the money came in, but according to Sheeran, not much has changed. "It hasn't really affected anything to do with friendship or family," the 22-year-old singer said. "It doesn't really matter. It just means I can be more comfortable and eat steak now and then."

O'Dell and Duran's conversation with Sheeran was just one of the many red carpet interviews that were shown live on TVGN Live with ET at the Grammys on Sunday, January 26 at 5:00 PM ET/PT.
