Selena Gomez's boyfriend and ex-boyfriend are both up for the Top Male Artist award.
A lot of big names in music will soon go head-to-head at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards -- including Selena Gomez's boyfriend, The Weeknd, and her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
On Monday morning, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and singer Julia Michaels announced five categories on Good Morning America, while the rest of the nominees were revealed on Twitter. As it turns out, Bieber and The Weeknd will vie for the Top Male Artist and Top Artist awards.
The Weeknd earned quite a few nominations, which also include Top Billboard 200 Album, Billboard Chart Achievement and Top R&B Artist. As for Bieber, he's up for Top Radio Songs, Top Social Artist -- which Gomez is also nominated -- and Top Touring Artist.
Drake and The Chainsmokers have tied for the all-time record of 22 nominations each, while Rihanna has 14 noms, Twenty One Pilots has 17, Beyonce has seven and Adele two.
