Eva Longoria is already showing off her bridal glow!
The 40-year-old Telenovela star hit the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday in a long white dress with floral detailing, effortlessly matching her shiny new ruby engagement ring. "I have to get it sized, but I wanted to wear it today!" Longoria gushed to ET's Nancy O'Dell, showing off her gorgeous accessory.
The actress said "yes" to Mexican businessman Jose Antonio Baston last month, and now she's spilling new details about the "memorable" and "romantic" proposal in Dubai.
"He was awesome and amazing," she said of her fiance, confirming that he did get down on one knee to pop the question. "He did the whole thing. He had been planning for, like, six months! ... He had to rehearse some stuff that happened, so it was memorable."
Apparently, it was also funny. Longoria confessed that she did cry in the moment -- but not for the reason you might think.
"I cried with laughter," she revealed. "I was laughing so hard and then it turned into a cry. ... I don't know, I laugh when I get nervous. It was a lot of fun."
Though Longoria recently said that she's in no rush to plan their nuptials, she did celebrate a family wedding this weekend in San Antonio, Texas. Longoria's parents said "I do" all over again for their 50th anniversary vow renewal.
"When they were saying their vows, I was crying because they were crying," Longoria gushed. "Who’s married 50 years now?!"
Last month, Longoria and Baston feted their own engagement with a glitzy party in Dubai. Get all the details below.
