It's a Bachelor alum giving back!

Just in time for the holiday season, Vanessa Grimaldi's No Better You Foundation gave a big gift to four schools in Canada. The Canadian presented a $50,000 check to the English Montreal School Board on Wednesday. The money will go to helping build sensory rooms at four schools in the Montreal area.

“This was an emotional morning," she tells ET exclusively. "The end of a whirlwind year and the launch of this amazing charity." Of course, Grimaldi and fiance Nick Viall split in August, five months after their season finale aired.

Sensory rooms are designed for helping with a person's senses using unique lighting, music and more, and are especially used for children with special needs. Grimaldi, 30, is a special education teacher. She founded the organization in 2017.

The first sensory room was built and presented on Wednesday at Coronation Elementary School in Quebec. The money came from a fundraiser held over the summer. “I want to thank everyone that gave time, money or both for us to achieve this goal," Grimaldi said Wednesday. "My team, volunteers and donors from home and around the world are everything.”
