'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' Trailer: See Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara Reprise Their Roles

The film drops in theaters on Sept. 6.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is almost here and there's a new trailer starring Michael Keaton, Catherine O'Hara, Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega to prove it.

On Thursday, Warner Bros. dropped the first full trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Beetlejuice -- the 1988 cult classic film by Tim Burton. The movie, which is set in the present, also features The Leftovers' Justin Theroux and hits theaters Sept. 6.

In the newly dropped first look, Ortega stars as the daughter of Ryder's character from the original film, Lydia Deetz. The Wednesday actress, whose character is named Astrid Deetz, bikes around their quaint small town of Winter River, Connecticut, before the clip cuts to the four main human characters -- played by O'Hara, Ryder, Ortega and Theroux -- at a funeral for an unidentified character.

The solemn event could be for Charles Deetz, Lydia's father and the husband of Delia (O'Hara). As the four stand over a casket being lowered into the ground, a group of choir boys sings a melodious cover of "Day-O" by Harry Belafonte, a call back to the possession scene from the first film.

Just then, the trailer cuts once again to an investigative Astrid in the attic of their family home, stumbling upon a small figurine model of their town, which seemingly sets Keaton's titular character free -- tearing apart the miniature town as a blue-green light fractures the set in half, much to the dismay of Ryder's character.

After floating up from the miniature town, Keaton's character finally makes his grand appearance, saying, "The juice is loose," as Lydia watches in horror and astonishment.

The trailer comes just one day after Warner Bros. shared first-look photos of the Deetz family back at it for the sequel.

In early March, Keaton spoke with ET and said that while it may have taken more than 30 years to bring it together (and that he sometimes doubted it would ever happen), the cast and crew could not be more thrilled to bring their beloved characters back to the screen for another go around.

"It took a while to get there," he shared. "I didn't really think we were gonna do it and didn't want to do it, various times [in the] last few years, but it was more fun than the other one."

Keaton also previously praised Ortega -- a newcomer to the already established Beetlejuice family -- saying that she "slipped in" effortlessly to the role and the film.

"Oh man, she's good, she's just got it, you know? She's got the tone. She showed up and just immediately knew what the tone was and just slipped in like she does every day. She's really special," the 72-year-old actor said.

Ortega also recently spoke with ET about her time on set of the sequel, which she called "some of the most fun I've ever had on a set." She added, "Visually, so exciting. Everything was practical."

"Everyone did an incredible job. I felt so lucky to be there, it was insane ... I can't wait for people to see," Ortega said of the Burton-directed sequel.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opens in theaters nationwide on Sept. 6.
