Seems like there’s still lots of love between the comedian and the Knowles fam!
Apparently, there’s still plenty of love between Tiffany Haddish and Beyonce. In fact, the 38-year-old comedian just got the seal of approval from Mama Knowles herself!
Queen Bey’s mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, shared pics and video from her recent book club meeting on Tuesday, where Haddish was the guest of honor after the group read her new collection of personal essays, The Last Black Unicorn.
“Just joined a great book club and how exciting is it that the talented, author Tiffany Haddish came and answered questions about the book The Last Black Unicorn,” Lawson captioned a pic of the two. “I devoured this book the first week it came out. It was very inspiring, open, hilarious, sad, and helped me to understand the foster care system. A great read. ❤️.”
Lawson also shared a video of her book club group meeting with Haddish, sharing, “Tiffany was so kind as to attend and answered questions about the book and her inspirational journey. This strong, resilient young woman is incredibly smart and intuitive. She is also kind and a diamond in the rough, ❤️ i really Enjoyed her tonight. ❤️.”
Haddish made headlines earlier this year with her claims that she witnessed an unnamed actress bite Beyonce at an L.A. after-party in December, following a JAY-Z concert where Haddish and Beyonce met. However, “Who Bit Beyonce?”-gate has calmed down in the weeks since, and with Haddish noting that she’s been sworn to secrecy via an NDA, fans may never know the true culprit for certain.
"You want to know who bit Beyonce? I'm just going to tell y'all and this is the last time I'm talking about it," Haddish joked on Instagram Live last month. "Let me sip some of my tea. Really, it's done, people should be focusing on the real issues at hand, like, did you do your taxes? Because taxes is due real soon. Do your children know how to read and write? ... Is your house clean? That's what we should be focusing on."
