The 28-year-old actress took to Instagram on Monday to show off her intense workout as she trains for her role as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel. Larson, who can be seen doing five pull-ups in the video, has definitely been putting in some serious time at the gym.
"9 months of training really does some stuff to your body ??? #mondaymotivation," she wrote alongside the clip, which displays her incredible arm strength and toned shoulders. The Oscar winner shared another video on Tuesday, this time of herself doing push-ups, captioned: "Getting stronger is a process I’m committed to showing up for everyday. ???."
Spending time at the gym isn't the only way Larson is transforming into Danvers, an Air Force pilot who gains superpowers after an accident leads to her DNA mixing with that of a Kree alien. On Monday, she shared a picture of herself at Nevada's Nellis Air Force Base.
"I got to learn from the best. Meet Brigadier General Jeannie Leavitt, 57th Wing Commander. I had the pleasure of spending time with her and many other badass, fascinating, and deeply hilarious pilots on a recent visit to Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. Thank you for helping me get closer to core of Carol Danvers aka #CaptainMarvel. Thank you @marvel for bringing us together," she wrote. "Higher further faster more!"

While some fans weren't exactly thrilled by the uniform, Larson told ET last year that it's important she "does right" by the character.
"I mean, I feel pressure in that it's a character that people love and are inspired by and I see that, and so I want to do right by that," she revealed. "And I want people to feel like their character is honored."
