Cardi B is a "free" woman after officially -- and finally! -- confirming her pregnancy Saturday night during her stunning Saturday Night Live performance.
In an Instagram video taken shortly after singing her "Be Careful" track, the 25-year-old rapper -- who's been the subject of pregnancy rumors for weeks -- can be seen backstage celebrating her big reveal, exclaiming aloud, "I'm finally free!"
Following the big announcement, fans on social media were quick to show their support, though a few haters came out. In an Instagram stories post, which she later removed, the star stated that this is the reason why she chose to wait so long to address the news.
"This is why I did not wanted to say nothing," Cardi wrote in the deleted post. "People be so thirsty to scrutinize and try to destroy something that [is] suppose to be a blessing."

The star's fiance, rapper Offset, also addressed the happy news on Twitter, writing that he and Cardi "look forward" to their next chapter together.
During an interview with Ebro Darden for Apple Music's Beats 1 last week, the songstress admitted that she prefers to keep some things private.
“I have been so open to people about myself. People cannot expect me to open [up] about everything. Certain things to me, it has to be private,” she said, when talking about her album Invasion of Privacy, which dropped Friday. “You cannot invade my privacy. I’m not a damn animal at the zoo that you just can see everything. No.”
