<p>Debuting to critical acclaim and lots of theories <a href="https://www.etonline.com/swarm-how-the-beyhive-and-real-crimes-inspired-donald-glovers-new-series-exclusive-200655" rel="" target="_blank">about its parallels</a> to Beyonce and the Beyhive, <em>Swarm</em> is a wildly captivating comedy-horror series about a young girl whose obsession with a pop star and deep love for her sister sends her down a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/swarm-inside-malia-obamas-wild-tv-writing-debut-on-donald-glovers-series-exclusive-200891" rel="" target="_blank">violent path</a>.</p>

<p>"It's also just really the story of a woman, who by any means necessary, is trying to get to the one thing that she understands in her life and the one thing that completes her," showrunner Janine Nabers said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Co-created by <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/donald-glover" rel="" target="_blank">Donald Glover</a> and Nabers, the seven-part story stars <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/dominique-fishback" rel="" target="_blank">Dominique Fishback</a> as the central antihero, Andrea "Dre" Green, and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/chloe-bailey" rel="" target="_blank">Chloe Bailey</a> as <a href="https://www.etonline.com/chloe-bailey-on-the-complex-darkness-of-swarm-and-how-sister-halle-influenced-her-character-201018" rel="" target="_blank">her sister, Marissa</a>, with the likes of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/billie-eilish" rel="" target="_blank">Billie Eilish</a>, Damson Idris, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kiersey-clemons" rel="" target="_blank">Kiersey Clemons</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/paris-jackson" rel="" target="_blank">Paris Jackson</a> appearing as some of the ill-fated characters who come across with Dre.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"When I was younger, I watched <em>Monster</em> with Charlize Theron… And I watched Heath Ledger do the Joker and you see all of these people get to really tap into different characters," Fishback said of wanting to take on this role. "I was like, 'Man, I want to get the opportunity to really just stretch myself as an actor and explore the human psyche in ways that I would never do.' …And, I feel like I got that freedom to do so at Dre's expense. She's so angry."</p>

<p>While speaking to ET, Bailey, Fishback and Nabers broke down key moments from Dre's murderous journey, which is kickstarted by Marissa's suicide and includes a bloody pie scene that is sure&nbsp;to become an iconic moment for both <em>Swarm</em> and Fishback's screen career.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Marissa's Tragic Suicide&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>As Nabers explained, the first episode, "Stung," which includes Marissa's unexpected death, is a catalyst for Dre's entire journey. "The pilot has always been the origin story of a villain in a lot of ways for us. This is a reaction to that," she said. "The journey that she takes throughout the pilot and what we see her become released at the end of the pilot propels us into the rest of the story."</p>

<p>And without Marissa's suicide there would be no journey. "Marissa had to die in order for Dre to live," Nabers said. "That is part of what this story is. And her living, however we see her do it, that's her true self."&nbsp;</p>

<p>For Fishback, she saw Marissa's suicide as a release for Dre -- just not in the way one might normally process that kind of emotion. "Trauma is stored in the body, and we know that Dre -- obviously to be how she is, even in the beginning – had a lot of trauma and a lot of emotions that she doesn't know how to process and didn't have the support to move through it," she said. "So, it's all stored in the body."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Fishback continued by adding, "Dre doesn't know how to talk about those things. And the only person that she felt understood her at all is now gone. And she doesn't know what to do with the feeling of loss and grief. She's angry, she's hurt and she doesn't know what to do with it in a healthy way. And I think that is the motivating factor that kind of catapults her into, what I guess Janine is calling her villain story, the anti-hero villain story."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Adding to that, Bailey said that for Dre, Marissa "was her safe haven and the person that she really felt she couldn't live without."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"So, when she lost the one thing that she felt was keeping her steady and afloat, she literally lost it. She's trying to get justice for her sister in this weird twisted way because she knows what the world has done to her," Bailey continued, explaining that with Marissa "committing suicide, she did it because of what all of the people did to her and she couldn't take it anymore. So in a way, Dre is fighting for her sister."</p>

<p>Bailey noted, "There's only so much a human being can take and we all have our breaking point."&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Dre's Bloody First Kill</strong></p>

<p>That initial breaking point for Dre is the murder of Marissa's boyfriend, Khalid (Idris), whom she holds responsible for her sister's death. And at the end of the first episode, which was directed by Glover, Dre kills him in a wildly unexpected scene that sees her covered in blood as she pulls her body from Khalid's and then eats a cherry pie.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Filmed in one take, the scene garnered Fishback a standing ovation from Glover and the rest of cast and crew who witnessed her stunning performance. "Afterwards, everybody was clapping and that was cool," the actress said, before recalling what went into making it happen on set.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"If we didn't get it right, it would set us back in time to clean up, to reset, to do everything," Fishback said of the intricate, yet bloody moment. "So, Donald had a talk with all of us and said, 'Hey, listen, we only have one shot to do this… And I really want it in a oner.'"&nbsp;</p>

<p>Then, when asked if she thought she could handle it, she said, "Consider it done." And right before she started filming, she told herself, "It is now or never," Fishback recalled. "And I just kind of let myself do it."&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for having to end the scene by eating a cherry pie, Fishback admitted that she was initially unsure how it was going to turn out. "I was like, 'I don't really know about this,'" she said, revealing, "I don't even like pie." Luckily for her, "I only had to do that part once."</p>

<p><strong>Marissa's Looming Presence&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>Not long after Marissa's death, Dre starts texting her – and getting messages back. While there's no supernatural element to the series, it adds to the many layers of Dre's fragile mind and makes her an unreliable narrator in her own story.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Marissa's like her guiding light in this weird, twisted, dark way because she's finding everyone who's talked anything negative about her sister online and she's like, 'No, you're not going to do that to her,'" Bailey said. "So, she's fighting back. She's fighting for her sister."</p>

<p>By episode six, which unfolds like a true-crime documentary following an investigator who starts putting together all the pieces in Dre's story, there are several revelations about Dre: she's adopted and not Marissa's blood sibling, she's has a dark, unresolved past and Marissa's scars are the result of a sleepover prank gone wrong. &nbsp;</p>

<p>These are the "nuggets you can find," Bailey said of "watching all the episodes."&nbsp;</p>

<p>She added that what she loves about the series is how it was edited all together. "They edited it in a way to match the pace of hour our human bodies would react to something. When my character passed, it was in such a quick way that you couldn't even truly digest it," she explained. "So, what I love about this show is that you feel every emotion, not only through the acting but also through the cinematography. And it all being shot on film makes it feel that much more raw and close."&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>That Complicated Finale&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>Of course, the first episode is just the jumping-off point for Dre's downward spiral, which sees her killing one person after another, especially anyone who challenges her faith in Ni'Jah, the singer she's long been obsessed with and thinks can do no wrong. And for Hailey (Jackson), Eva (Eilish) and Rashida (Clemons) that <a href="https://www.etonline.com/billie-eilish-makes-surprise-acting-debut-in-donald-glovers-swarm-series-watch-a-clip-200894" rel="" target="_blank">sees them murdered</a> in increasingly shocking and violent deaths, with Rashida's being particularly brutal.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The final episode, that was the hardest episode for me," Fishback said, explaining that Rashida's murder was the hardest for her to film. "It was really, really emotional to do that particular kill that she does. I didn't want her to. And then you kind of had to just do it and you had to do it a couple of times."</p>

<p>Dre's killing spree doesn't come to an end until she finally encounters Ni'Jah at a concert. After storming the stage as Tony -- her latest identity as she continued to evolve throughout the series before seemingly embracing her "stud" era -- she has a moment with Ni'Jah, who stops the secret from pulling her away. But when the two finally embrace, it's not Ni'Jah who Tony sees, it's Marissa. &nbsp;</p>

<p>"I cried when I had to do ADR for it and three scans of my face," Bailey said of the finale. "I was crying because I thought it was done in such a beautiful way where it showed her sister again and death not keeping them apart. It was like she was finally able to be in her sister's arms. That was the beautiful way that I took it."&nbsp;</p>

<p>To play Marissa, Bailey pulled a lot from her own experiences with her sister, Halle. "With my relationship with my sister, it was very touching to me," she said. "I think when people see this show, that's when they see that it's truly about sisterhood and when you love someone, you don't want anyone to harm or hurt them, so you'll do anything to protect them."</p>

<p>For Nabers, "Dre ends up exactly where she's supposed to be," she said. "The ending, for me, it's very much through her own perspective. But because she hasn't been the most reliable narrator for us, I think there is a question at the end of, 'How real is this moment? What am I watching? And am I watching the truth? Am I watching something that's maybe more internalized?'"&nbsp;</p>

<p>She added, "It's supposed to be a complicated ending. I think people are supposed to be left with a feeling of questions. And I think that's very purposeful."&nbsp;</p>

<p>When looking back on the references that inspired this series, like The Piano Teacher, Nabers said what makes that work so well is that "you always end with this question of, 'What did I just see? What is this person doing? What is this person about to do? Who is this person really?'"&nbsp;</p>

<p>"And I think all of that, I feel like that's the feeling that we wanted," Nabers continued, "and I think that's the feeling that we nailed."</p>

'Swarm' Spoilers: Dominique Fishback on Dre's Cherry Pie Scene and That Emotional Finale (Exclusive)

<p><em><a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/good-trouble" target="_blank">Good Trouble</a>&nbsp;</em>is back for another explosive season, and ET is exclusively premiering a first look at what's to come.</p>

<p>In ET's exclusive trailer, Mariana struggles with survivor's guilt after Evan was&nbsp;shot trying to help her,&nbsp;Joaquin&nbsp;(Bryan Craig) and his sister, Jenna, escape&nbsp;Silas's farm&nbsp;compound to get the latter&nbsp;out safely. Although&nbsp;the incident brought back&nbsp;Callie&nbsp;and their&nbsp;moms, Stef and Lena, to rally around Mariana&nbsp;as she struggles with fallout from Jenna's escape, the remorse threatens to overwhelm her.</p>

<p>"I wish it was me," Mariana tells her sister as Evan&nbsp;languishes in a medically induced coma. Things get even more tense as&nbsp;Mariana takes over as interim&nbsp;CEO of Speckulate, where her presence puts Evan's stake in the company in danger.</p>

<p>"I'm so afraid to fail you," Mariana tells a sleeping Evan after she's warned that the company can fire her if the board finds her unfit as CEO. "Don't die on me. Please."</p>

<p>Meanwhile, following the emotional toil of last season, Isabella and Gael contend with her last-minute decision to raise their baby after&nbsp;they&nbsp;agreed to let Gael's sister Jasmine adopt the baby. Gael finds it difficult to believe Isabella is ready to be a mother and she struggles to reign in her instincts to flee in the face of his uncertainty.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It doesn't all look like doom and gloom in the future. Callie, who <a href="https://www.etonline.com/maia-mitchell-exits-good-trouble-after-4-seasons-its-time-to-start-a-new-chapter-181011" rel="" target="_blank">made her exit in season 4</a>, will be sticking around the Coterie for a short arc&nbsp;after previously&nbsp;boarding&nbsp;a plane to Washington, D.C. and&nbsp;leaving Los Angeles to begin her dream job at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). With her return to her sister's side, she finds herself back in her dance with on-and-off beau Jamie.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On a similar ride are&nbsp;Davia and Dennis, who are&nbsp;reveling in the honeymoon phase of their new relationship as they venture into new territories of their careers, as well as Sumi and Alice as they handle co-managing the Coterie. Malika and newcomer&nbsp;Luca juggle their love lives with their professional lives as the former finds herself back in the sights of her ex, Angelica, and the latter attempts to reconnect with family and&nbsp;struggles to keep up in his first-ever professional dance class.&nbsp;</p>

'Good Trouble' Season 5: The Coterie Navigates Life After Evan's Shooting in New Trailer (Exclusive)

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/tamar-braxton" rel="" target="_blank">Tamar Braxton</a>&nbsp;went looking for love and she's found it! During the final&nbsp;episode of Peacock's <em>Queen's Court</em>, the reality star&nbsp;got engaged to her finalist,&nbsp;attorney Jeremy "JR" Robinson.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hosted by power couple Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete, the&nbsp;reality dating series features Braxton, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/evelyn-lozada" target="_blank">Evelyn Lozada</a>&nbsp;and Nivea, as they date a group of 21 men vying to be their potential "kings."</p>

<p>Robinson proposed to Braxton during the final moments of the season's finale, telling the singer,&nbsp;"I don't wanna be your friend. I wanna be your husband.&nbsp;I'm here forever because I don't see my life without you. And I love you, Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?"</p>

<p>Braxton accepted the proposal, admitting that she's "crazy" about JR, adding,&nbsp;"I can't believe I found what I was looking for."</p>

<p>The series also provided an update, sharing that Braxton and Robinson are still together after six months and are&nbsp;"busy planning their wedding!"</p>

<p>Braxton, meanwhile,&nbsp;recently&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tamar-braxton-on-releasing-new-music-and-dating-publicly-on-queens-court-exclusive-200882" rel="" target="_blank">sat down with ET</a> and opened up about her motivation for joining the reality series, saying,&nbsp;"Well, you know, look I had to find Mr. Right somewhere!"</p>

<p>"I feel like I looked high and low and the truth is&nbsp;&nbsp;I wanted to meet some potentials on there in a different kind of way," she shared. "You meet people through people and I think&nbsp;I done ran out of people."</p>

<p>While the songstress is no stranger to reality TV shows, she admitted that she has a bit of a "love/hate" relationship with them. But when it came to&nbsp;<em>Queens Court</em>, "Something told me to trust the process."</p>

<p>"I've never done anything like this before and what's the worst that can happen? I find love?" she added. "This TV show is so amazing, it's one of my most proudest moments. Because I got a chance to really&nbsp;be with some girlfriends, some people I really truly love and respect,&nbsp;who were looking for the same thing that I was looking for... We had vulnerable moments [and]&nbsp;we've had amazing moments."</p>

<p>The show also gave Braxton the opportunity for self-reflection, self-realization as well as personal and emotional growth.</p>

<p>"The number one thing I learned is that I wasn't as ready as I said that I was, in receiving love," she admitted. "The times when a certain amount of gentlemen would show me some type of affection,&nbsp;I didn't want it. Sometimes, when they would want to have certain conversations, I wasn't open.&nbsp;And I just really had to really check myself and make sure that this is an area that I had to work on before I, you know, just branched myself out a little bit."</p>

<p>Lozada, Braxton's co-star, also left the series in a <a href="https://www.etonline.com/evelyn-lozada-reveals-engagement-to-queens-court-finalist-lavon-lewis-never-give-up-on-love-201051" rel="" target="_blank">committed relationship with her finalist</a>,&nbsp;Lavon Lewis.&nbsp;The&nbsp;<em>Basketball Wives</em>&nbsp;alum recently revealed that Lewis&nbsp;popped the question on Lozada's birthday in December at a small gathering with friends and family in Los Angeles.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-6">"The thing about Evelyn is, it is very hard to surprise her," the marketing firm cofounder told <a href="https://people.com/tv/basketball-wives-alum-evelyn-lozada-engaged-to-queens-court-finalist-lavon-lewis/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>People</em></a>. "I told her to pack her bags, we're going somewhere. She was blindfolded until she got to the front door. She walked in to about 20 close friends and family and the big 'marry me' letters, roses on the ground, things like that."</p>

<p>The mother of two admitted that she hadn't been expecting Lewis' proposal despite them previously discussing taking that next step, but praised her fiancée for doing "a really, really good job" in picking out her&nbsp;<a data-component="link" data-ordinal="1" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" href="https://twilatruefinejewelry.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Twila True</a>&nbsp;ring.</p>

<p>"It was the perfect size and shape," Lozada said. "I've never had that stone, so he did a really, really good job. But I'm not surprised. Lavon is a creative mind and he doesn't forget anything."&nbsp;</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-42">"I would challenge people to think outside of the box and have faith and push themselves," Lewis shared when asked what&nbsp;he hopes&nbsp;<em>Queens&nbsp;Court</em>&nbsp;viewers take from the series. "I didn't think I would go into it and come out of it with a wife. But look at what happens when you open yourself up and challenge yourself and step up to the plate."</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-44">"Sometimes as women, you think, 'I'm 40, my life is over,'" Lozada added. "But just to keep working at it. Never give up on love."</p>

Tamar Braxton Gets Engaged to 'Queens Court' Finalist Jeremy 'JR' Robinson

<p>At first glance,&nbsp;Amazon Studios' new series&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/swarm" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Swarm</em></a>&nbsp;is a heady tale of a young woman's <a href="https://www.etonline.com/swarm-trailer-dominique-fishback-is-a-murderous-killer-bee-in-beyonce-inspired-series-199745" rel="" target="_blank">obsession with a fictional pop star</a> and how that evolves into a dark road trip with unpredictable encounters.&nbsp;But according to&nbsp;star&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/chloe-bailey" rel="" target="_blank">Chlöe Bailey</a>, it's more a tale of sisterhood than anything else.</p>

<p>From co-creators and executive producers Janine Nabers and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/donald-glover" rel="" target="_blank">Donald Glover</a>,&nbsp;<em>Swarm</em>&nbsp;follows Dre (<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/dominique-fishback" rel="" target="_blank">Dominique Fishback</a>), a young woman obsessed with the&nbsp;fictional pop star Ni'Jah, whose body of work and art style&nbsp;are very similar to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/beyonce" rel="" target="_blank">Beyoncé's</a>. Set between 2016 and 2018, the series follows Dre as&nbsp;her fandom&nbsp;takes her to dark, unexpected places, which begins after a tragic&nbsp;incident involving her sister Marissa (Bailey) and Marissa's boyfriend, Khalid. (<a href="https://www.etonline.com/lori-harvey-and-boyfriend-damson-idris-make-red-carpet-debut-199330" rel="" target="_blank">Damson Idris</a>).&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Marissa, she's finding her way, and&nbsp;I think that's why she and Dre click so much&nbsp;because they're holding each other up," Bailey told ET&nbsp;of her softhearted character, revealing that&nbsp;"Marissa has a lot of mental health issues. And while she's trying to keep her sister afloat, she's dealing with a lot of dark things and I'm so happy for their bond and their love."</p>

<p>"Marissa almost uses Khalid, and love from different men, as a distraction to get away from the real world. I really love Marissa because she's positive on the outside, but you don't know the pain that she holds on the inside," she continued.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Praising her co-stars, the actress shared that she had "the best two weeks of my life" shooting with Fishback and Idris,&nbsp;noting that the trio's connection "felt so right and it felt so real and authentic." Bailey added, "I couldn't have chosen a better scene partner and a better sister, the Dre to my Marissa,"&nbsp;calling their bond&nbsp;"the light" in the darkness of the show.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nabers and Glover <a href="https://www.etonline.com/swarm-donald-glover-and-dominique-fishback-preview-beyonce-inspired-series-198174" rel="" target="_blank">previously told&nbsp;<em>Vanity Fair</em></a>&nbsp;that they got their inspiration&nbsp;for the character of Dre from iconic&nbsp;TV antiheroes who were&nbsp;compelling in their messiness and likened the series to&nbsp;Michael Haneke's&nbsp;2001&nbsp;<em>Piano Teacher&nbsp;</em>and&nbsp;Martin Scorsese's&nbsp;<em>The King of Comedy</em>.</p>

<p>Bailey revealed that the casting director encouraged her to watch the 2001 drama and all the episodes of&nbsp;<em>Atlanta</em>, Glover's brainchild, to get a sense of where production was going theme-wise&nbsp;before tackling the role of Marissa.&nbsp;"I think what I loved about [<em>Atlanta</em>]&nbsp;so much is [that] it was so funny and quirky and random and dark at times and really funny and light at times. That's what I loved about it, that it wasn't put inside a box," she shared, adding that Glover doesn't limit himself to a single genre. "When I read [<em>Swarm</em>], the first script that Janine and Donald sent me, I was just absolutely floored."</p>

<p>The <em>grown-ish</em>&nbsp;star explained that she watched <em>The Piano Teacher</em> before meeting with Nabers and Glover&nbsp;via Zoom, which has since become one of her favorite films. "It's an incredible French film. You think it's just about an innocent woman, but she has all of these erotic fantasies. What I loved about it is that it showed you never know what someone has inside of their mind," Bailey said.</p>

<p>"You explore that with <em>Swarm</em> and you explore that with Dre and Marissa," the actress continued.&nbsp;"[With the latter]&nbsp;you see this positive bright light on the outside and with the different hints and everything like her scars and little things that she'll say or how she deflects and never really talks about her problems and how she runs away from them, that's what a lot of us can relate to because none of us have it all figured out. We're just better at hiding it."</p>

<p>"I'm such a suspenseful, thriller, murder story&nbsp;girl. Horror films with scary stuff, I can't do, but this I can do,"&nbsp;she added. "And when I read [<em>Swarm</em>], I loved the synergy with Marissa and Dre and the shock value with her boyfriend and their toxic love&nbsp;and how they bonded over their love for something that they had since they were little girls.&nbsp;I just love the whole script overall and I was like, 'Wow, this is amazing.'"</p>

<p>Although Bailey has an intimate perspective into the world of fandom and celebrity as part of the&nbsp;GRAMMY-nominated duo, Chloe x Halle,&nbsp;with her younger sister, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/halle-bailey" rel="" target="_blank">Halle Bailey</a>, and as a solo artist preparing to drop her debut album, she said that she pulled from her experience as a sister to shape Marissa's character.</p>

<p>"That's what this piece meant to me, the bond of two sisters. No matter how crazy their life gets, that they will always stay together no matter what, till death do them part," she explained. "It's a story about a girl who's figuring herself out, and we all have outlets in which we do that."</p>

<p>Bailey echoed&nbsp;a similar sentiment when speaking about her relationship with her real-life sister, sharing that, despite their similarities and the bond that will always keep them together, they have a lot of different interests. "[Going solo] was very scary in the beginning and we both had separation anxiety, but now I feel like it's made us both stronger and believe in ourselves a little more and in turn, it makes our bond stronger," she said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It's easy to believe in someone else, and it's harder to believe in yourself, so I feel like we've gotten to do the hard self-work on our own, traveling apart from each other and everything like that, so it makes us appreciate each other even more," Bailey concluded.</p>

Chlöe Bailey on the Complex Darkness of 'Swarm' and How Sister Halle Influenced Her Character (Exclusive)

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/evelyn-lozada" target="_blank">Evelyn Lozada</a>&nbsp;is engaged! On Thursday, the&nbsp;<em>Basketball Wives</em>&nbsp;alum revealed she is tying the knot with Lavon Lewis, her finalist on&nbsp;Peacock's&nbsp;<em>Queens Court</em>.</p>

<p>Hosted by power couple Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete, the&nbsp;reality dating series features Lozada and singers, Tamar Braxton and Nivea, as they date a group of 21 men vying to be their potential "kings."</p>

<p>Lozada revealed to&nbsp;<a href="https://people.com/tv/basketball-wives-alum-evelyn-lozada-engaged-to-queens-court-finalist-lavon-lewis/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>People</em></a>&nbsp;that she met&nbsp;Lewis on the second episode and&nbsp;initially worried about being long-distance as she lives in Los Angeles and&nbsp;he resides in Atlanta. But the pair have managed to make it work as Lewis&nbsp;popped the question on Lozada's birthday in December at a small gathering with friends and family in Los Angeles.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-6">"The thing about Evelyn is, it is very hard to surprise her," the marketing firm cofounder told the outlet. "I told her to pack her bags, we're going somewhere. She was blindfolded until she got to the front door. She walked in to about 20 close friends and family and the big 'marry me' letters, roses on the ground, things like that."</p>

<p>The mother of two admitted that she hadn't been expecting Lewis' proposal despite them previously discussing taking that next step, but praised her fiancée for doing "a really, really good job" in picking out her&nbsp;<a data-component="link" data-ordinal="1" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" href="https://twilatruefinejewelry.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Twila True</a>&nbsp;ring.</p>

<p>"It was the perfect size and shape," Lozada said. "I've never had that stone, so he did a really, really good job. But I'm not surprised. Lavon is a creative mind and he doesn't forget anything."&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for being long-distance, the pair have made every effort to see each other frequently and bring their families close despite physical distance. "Lavon has been very proactive of making sure he gets on a plane to come visit," Lozada said, adding that her soon-to-be-husband&nbsp;got to meet her 8-year-old son Leo over the holidays and became "two peas in a pod."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Lewis shared that his 13-year-old son Jordan is similarly close to Lozada, and the couple plans to bring their family under one roof when Jordan heads to high school.&nbsp;</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-42">"I would challenge people to think outside of the box and have faith and push themselves," Lewis told <em>People</em>&nbsp;he hopes <em>Queens&nbsp;Court</em>&nbsp;viewers take from the series. "I didn't think I would go into it and come out of it with a wife. But look at what happens when you open yourself up and challenge yourself and step up to the plate."</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-44">"Sometimes as women, you think, 'I'm 40, my life is over,'" Lozada added. "But just to keep working at it. Never give up on love."</p>

Evelyn Lozada Reveals Engagement to 'Queens Court' Finalist Lavon Lewis: 'Never Give Up on Love'

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/bad-bunny" rel="" target="_blank">Bad Bunny</a>&nbsp;may have just secured his position as the top Arianator. The&nbsp;music megastar made his "<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/carpool-karaoke" target="_blank">Carpool Karaoke</a>"<em>&nbsp;</em>debut on Tuesday night's&nbsp;<em>The Late Late Show</em>, and not only did he&nbsp;sing&nbsp;some of his hits, but he also showed his passion for pop music with a rousing rendition of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/ariana-grande" rel="" target="_blank">Ariana Grande</a>'s "Break Free."</p>

<p>"I think this is the English song that I most know,&nbsp;the lyrics. Because I listen to&nbsp;music [in English] --" the Puerto Rican superstar told Corden before he cut himself off to break out into the song's chorus.&nbsp;Clearly, he's more than just a passing fan!</p>

<p>Bad Bunny --&nbsp;born&nbsp;Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio -- also sang along to <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/harry-styles" rel="" target="_blank">Harry Styles</a>' "As It Was," <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/cardi-b" rel="" target="_blank">Cardi B</a>'s "I Like It" and his own singles, including "Tití Me Preguntó," as he shared some tidbits behind his rise to fame with Corden.</p>

<p>When asked why he chose the moniker Bad Bunny, the singer explained that&nbsp;he wanted to conceal his identity with a mask at the beginning of his career, similar to&nbsp;how DJ Marshmello wears a giant marshmallow head.&nbsp;"You know, I never wanted to be so famous, but then I just went with the flow," Bad Bunny said, adding that he chose the name because like a naughty bunny, no&nbsp;matter how bad it may be, is still looking cute. "That's me ... I'm a good guy.&nbsp;I'm cute."</p>

<p>Bad Bunny also admitted the rumor that he&nbsp;was nearly late to perform at the GRAMMYs&nbsp;was true, thanks to him&nbsp;being stuck in Los&nbsp;Angeles traffic after a workout. Then, the singer took Corden into the wrestling ring to show off some of his moves and give the talk show host a taste of a real match against&nbsp;professional wrestler Rey Mysterio.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last week, a&nbsp;source told&nbsp;ET that the 27-year-old model is doing great since her breakup with NBA star Devin Booker. For the moment, the source said&nbsp;Jenner is&nbsp;"focusing on herself, work, family and friends and enjoying her time with" Bad Bunny.</p>

<p>"They’re taking things slow for now and seeing where things go in the future," the source said. "They both really like each other and are just hanging out and having a good time. <p>Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/paris-hilton-shares-first-photos-of-newborn-son-phoenixs-face-199661" rel="" target="_blank">welcomed their first baby, son Phoenix, in January</a>&nbsp;via surrogate, and the reality star said being a mom has been filled with some truly majestic, memorable&nbsp;moments. "My favorite moments are when he's just laying on my chest and he's looking into my eyes and my heart just melts and I just feel that&nbsp;this is just the most magical time in my life," she gushed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"They have been filming for several months now," Hilton said of the production team.&nbsp;"So they've captured everything."</p>

<p>Hilton said&nbsp;she&nbsp;hopes that one day, her son will proudly&nbsp;reflect on her candidness&nbsp;and vulnerability&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/paris-hilton-drank-herself-silly-and-took-quaaludes-to-make-sex-tape-memoir-excerpt-reveals-200372" rel="" target="_blank">in her new book,&nbsp;<em>Paris: The Memoir</em>,</a>&nbsp;which details many of the dramatic highs and lows in her famous, well-documented life.</p>

<p>"This has just been the most therapeutic experience of my life, putting it all out there," Hilton said of writing her life's story.&nbsp;"[There are] just&nbsp;so many emotions and just so many experiences that I endured and tried to forget, but writing them all out and putting them out there has just&nbsp;made me feel just really incredible."</p>

I couldn't be prouder."</p>

<p>"I have lived such a full and exciting life, so the book has it all. Everything that I went through in life, but also the really great times," Hilton shared.&nbsp;"And I know that Phoenix would be proud of his mom and how strong she is. Paris Hilton on Her 'Therapeutic Experience' Writing a Memoir and Favorite Moments of Motherhood (Exclusive)

<p>After announcing her plans to marry her longtime partner, Amber Laign,&nbsp;later this year,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/robin-roberts" target="_blank">Robin Roberts</a>&nbsp;has some important updates for her fans! The&nbsp;veteran TV journalist spoke to ET's Rachel Smith ahead of the highly anticipated second season of her Emmy-winning&nbsp;talk series,&nbsp;<em>Turning the Tables</em>, where she opened up about her&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/robin-roberts-reveals-her-partner-amber-laign-has-breast-cancer-179826">partner's breast cancer battle</a>, their wedding plans and the new installment.</p>

<p>Roberts, who has been with Laign since 2005, first shared that her partner had been&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/robin-roberts-reveals-her-partner-amber-laign-has-breast-cancer-179826" rel="" target="_blank">diagnosed with breast cancer</a>&nbsp;in 2021&nbsp;and struggled with&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/robin-roberts-shares-why-partner-amber-laigns-treatment-was-suspended-amid-cancer-battle-exclusive" rel="" target="_blank">chemotherapy complications</a>&nbsp;last&nbsp;April. Laign ended her&nbsp;radiation treatment in July, which Roberts <a href="https://www.etonline.com/robin-roberts-planning-2023-wedding-with-longtime-partner-amber-laign-196655" rel="" target="_blank">took to Instagram to celebrate</a> with fans.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It was a rough year; her journey with breast cancer took some unexpected twists and turns but she is doing really really well," Roberts tells ET now. "Doctors said when it comes to treatment, it's like women and shoes -- they don't always fit -- and so they had to find the right fit for her with treatment."&nbsp;</p>

<p>After Laign's difficulties with her chemotherapy, Roberts shares that her partner's prognosis "is excellent" and Laign is "ready to start a new chapter as well."</p>

<p>A chapter that includes walking down the aisle!</p>

<p>The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/good-morning-america" rel="" target="_blank" title="Good Morning America"><em>Good Morning America</em></a>&nbsp;host <a href="https://www.etonline.com/robin-roberts-planning-2023-wedding-with-longtime-partner-amber-laign-196655" rel="" target="_blank">announced&nbsp;the couple's upcoming nuptials</a> in January by&nbsp;sharing&nbsp;a clip on Instagram from a conversation with motivational speaker and&nbsp;author Gabby Bernstein, where she discussed their decision.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I'm hesitating because I haven't said it out loud yet...&nbsp;I'm saying 'yes' to marriage," Roberts said in the video. "We're getting married this year.&nbsp;It was something we had talked about, but we had put it off, she became ill, but&nbsp;it is saying yes to that, and that next chapter."</p>

<p>The post was met with lots of love in the comments, with tennis star&nbsp;Billie Jean King&nbsp;writing, "So happy for you and Amber! Sending all our love your way," and Loni Love commenting, "Come through!!!!! Congratulations.. I'll be the flower girl!!!!"</p>

<p>Roberts is keeping&nbsp;coy&nbsp;about&nbsp;specific wedding details, but shares that the pair already have&nbsp;a set date in mind for a ceremony this year. "I'm proud to talk about [it],&nbsp;I'm going to be a married women. Our families are so excited [and]&nbsp;the save the dates [are] going to be going out soon," she tells ET.</p>

<p>She adds, "[Amber]&nbsp;is my person after 18 years and that’s why when Gabby Bernstein was asking me about it at the beginning of the year, I raised my hand [and] I said, 'No, I'm meditating on the marriage, I'm not just looking to have a wedding day. I'm looking at the union.'"</p>

<p>"It is so exciting to know like, I've been with this person for 18 years and we're still excited and we still wanna be with each other and we still want to start this new chapter together," she gushes about Laign.</p>

<p>The only occasion that comes close to being as exciting&nbsp;is the March 15 premiere of&nbsp;<em>Turning the Tables</em>' second season.</p>

<p>Calling the show's Daytime Emmy win&nbsp;"unexpected and pure" joy, Roberts tells ET, "I know people say it's an honor just to be nominated [but] it truly was for our group just to be considered for an Emmy. But then to win? Oh, my youngins got up there on that stage... But this is what <em>Turning the Tables</em> is about. It's not just the women that you see before the camera, but these young, dynamic United Nations women behind the scenes. So I was very happy for them as well."</p>

<p>The host vows that season 2 of the talk series is a proper build-up on what was done&nbsp;in the freshman installment. Season 1 saw&nbsp;Roberts opening up and delving into some emotional topics with an impressive slate of celebrities including&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/jenna-dewan" target="_blank">Jenna Dewan</a>, Jamie Lee Curtis, Debbie Allen and Billie Jean King.</p>

<p>Season 2 welcomes guests such as Sheryl Lee Ralph, Brooke Shields, Dionne Warwick and Chloe Kim.</p>

<p>Roberts admits that her sit-down with Shields struck a particular chord and&nbsp;lingers in a way that still surprises her.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"You have an idea how someone is going to be or maybe how they will react, and as we kept talking you could just see her [thinking], 'No I'm not gonna say or do what people feel I should say or do. This is who I am. I'm comfortable with who I am,'" Roberts explains.</p>

<p>"And I just really appreciated that [she] kinda let down the barriers a little bit because we've been watching her since she was yay high and a lot of the women that we were talking to -- even Sheryl Lee Ralph&nbsp;-- [came into the spotlight as] a young actress," Roberts adds. "And so for them to show how they got from point A&nbsp;to point B...&nbsp;Success leaves clues, these are successful women and they want to share the clues and I really feel that those people that are watching, they are gonna come away with something of being empowered and uplifted."</p>

<p><em>Turning the Tables&nbsp;</em>season 2 beings streaming on Disney+ March 15.</p>

Robin Roberts Gives Update on Partner Amber Laign's Breast Cancer Treatment and Wedding Planning (Exclusive)

<p>Tems caused quite a stir with her&nbsp;billowing white gown&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/awards/oscars" rel="" target="_blank">95th Academy Awards</a>&nbsp;on Sunday. The co-writer of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/latest/people/rihanna" rel="" target="_blank">Rihanna</a>'s <a href="https://www.etonline.com/rihanna-earns-first-oscar-nomination-for-black-panther-wakanda-forever-original-song-197867" target="_blank">Oscar-nominated&nbsp;single</a>, "Lift Me Up," wowed the red carpet&nbsp;in a show-stopping&nbsp;Lever Couture gown with a&nbsp;delicate tulle fabric headpiece&nbsp;woven into a head-to-toe asymmetrical silhouette.</p>

<p>While the Oscar nominee --&nbsp;whose&nbsp;full name is Temilade Openiyi -- was an instant entry for the night's best-dressed list, Twitter users were widely divided when it came to the headpiece's presence <em>inside&nbsp;</em>the venue, where it obstructed&nbsp;the views of some of the guests seated behind her.</p>

<p>Although no one who was actually seated behind&nbsp;Tems said anything about their blocked view, ABC's broadcast showed her several times throughout the night.&nbsp;Those seated around her, including her co-manager, Tec, were seen craning their necks to see around the gown's headpiece.</p>

<p>On Monday night, the GRAMMY winner responded to the drama on Twitter, sharing four photos of her in the now-infamous gown, and cheekily writing, "Oops."&nbsp;</p>

Standing on a feathered platform, Rihanna looked emotional as she was met with a standing ovation.&nbsp;</p>

<p>At the end of her performance, the camera panned to Rihanna's partner and the father of her son and baby-on-the-way, A$AP Rocky, who appeared to be filled with pride as he cheered her on. Rocky also was celebrating Hollywood's biggest night with a glass of champagne in his hand.&nbsp;</p>
