Vera Wang's Rodeo Drive Store Is A 'Dream Come True'
By Zach Seemayer
Iconic fashion designer Vera Wang has had a long and storied career, designing dresses and gowns for some of Hollywood's biggest stars and most illustrious occasions. Finally, after years, she is opening a store on Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive, the fashion mecca of America.
Stars and fashionistas joined Wang on Wednesday for the official grand opening of her new location in the heart of Beverly Hills, and the legendary designer was beside herself with excitement over the new venture.
"Rodeo Drive, to everyone in the world, is symbolic of high fashion," Wang told ET. "Our particular brand is so related to Hollywood stars, both for weddings and on the red carpet, so for me this is really a dream come true."
Stars like Kelly Osbourne, Rosamund Pike and Keke Palmer, among others, attended the grand opening event, and explained why Vera Wang was so important to them and to fashion.
"I've always dreamed… that Vera custom makes my wedding dress," said actress Keke Palmer. "That would be amazing. So this is hopefully the start of a good relationship."
