Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Sport Some Super-Questionable Hairdos

Let's just hope this is all for a movie.

... Especially in Robert Pattinson's case.

Thursday night, the handsome 28-year-old Twilight star debuted his new look at the 7th Annual GO GO Gala benefiting orphans and vulnerable children around the world in Beverly Hills, Calif., where his dramatic new undercut took center-stage.

Sure it looks fine from the front, but just wait until he turns around.

... Seriously?!

Shaved and cut severely straight across, he also inexplicably left a landing strip smack in the middle of the back of his head.

Of course the new haircut could also be the influence of his girlfriend, singer FKA Twigs, whose unconventional style is also pretty questionable.

Whatever the reason is, not cute Robert.

Turns out Rob's ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart is also not having the best hair week either. Kristen rocked a very '80s hairstyle at a special screening of her film Still Alice Wednesday in Hollywood, Calif., styling her choppy bob in a severe side part.

Props to her for trying to keep it edgy, but this is clearly not the most flattering look, no?

Perhaps the two will trade hair notes tonight at the Hollywood Film Awards? Both are scheduled to make an appearance Friday, marking the first time in months they'll be at the same event since the two split last May.

But given that Robert has clearly moved on with FKA Twigs and Kristen has been busy with multiple film projects, we doubt the meeting will be too awkward!

While Rob and Kristen have both worked pretty hard to move beyond their Twilight fame, the franchise lives on with Lionsgate announcing in October that they’ll be teaming up with Facebook to finance five short films based on the Twilight characters.

The Storytellers -- New Creative Voices of The Twilight Saga will have a group of female panelists choosing five up-and-coming female directors to direct the shorts, with the best part being that Kristen herself will be part of the panel.
