On Tuesday, the Powerless star was spotted leaving a Pilates class in Studio City, California, with her boyfriend, Austin Butler, rocking a quirky accessory that had fitness gurus turning their heads in both confusion and total amazement.

The 27-year-old actress gave fans a peak at her washboard abs in a bright Adidas sports bra, which she paired with navy workout pants, a zip-up track jacket and sneakers. But all eyes were on her unique jewelry of choice -- a gold body chain.
Following the sighting, a few fans took to Twitter to comment on Hudgens' interesting ensemble. Some approved of the look, writing things like, "@VanessaHudgens is my spirit animal," while others criticized her for being "over the top" while working a sweat.
Hudgens joins a slew of celebrities -- like Gigi Hadid, Paris Hilton, Rihanna and Beyoncé -- who have taken a liking to the sexy accessory. These ladies have yet to rock the jewelry during a workout session, however.

Last month, Bella Thorne sported a silver body chain under a lacy black bralette while out and about in downtown Los Angeles with boyfriend Tyler Posey. She completed her edgy-meets-sultry outfit with distressed jeans, a leather jacket and ankle booties, while the Teen Wolf star kept it casual in a white T-shirt, black skinnies and Converse.
