Bow down to Rihanna, because we're officially dubbing her the 2017 Met Gala queen!
The 29-year-old singer stepped out to the Costume Institute's red carpet in New York City on Monday in an ensemble that was totally on point with fashion's biggest night's unique motif.
RiRi wore a bright and bold sculptural Comme des Garçons number, straight off the Fall 2016 runway, which she paired with bright red heels that laced up all the way to her thighs.

Rocking bangs and a trendy top knot, Rihanna's beauty look was equally fierce. She opted for bright pink eyeshadow and blush around her eyes and cheeks, topping it off with a deep magenta pout.

The theme of this year's fête was "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art Of The In-Between," honoring Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo, whose creations are best known for their quirky, architectural designs.
To give you an idea of just how on point Rihanna's avant-garde look actually was, check out some of Kawakubo's designs that are currently on display in the Costume Institute's new exhibit:

Pure perfection!
