"She is one of the fliest out there."

Diddy doesn't have many, if any, fashion regrets.

The hip-hop mogul is busy promoting the documentary Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Bad Boy Story and recently took a walk down memory lane with ET's Nischelle Turner where he talked about all those show-stopping style statements of the early 2000s, including when his former girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, became a fashion icon when she stepped out in that green Versace dress at the 2000 GRAMMYs.

"Just wow," Diddy exclaimed when recalling Lopez's look. "We were just stepping up our game as far as what we were wearing and how we were gonna use fashion."

The 47-year-old musician said he had an inkling at the time that the dress would turn heads, but was not ready for how much attention the style would receive. "I thought it was gonna really change the game as far as for her and fashion," he noted. "I didn't know how big it was gonna be, but it was a great moment for her."

Diddy added, "She deserved it. She is one of the fliest out there."

He also admitted that "without a doubt," Lopez was on the great loves of his life.

As for his own fashion moments over the years, Diddy said his favorite look had to be those shiny suits. "It took us out of our comfort zones. It took hip-hop out of its comfort zone," he said of the style. "So, you know, that's what being an artist is about."

Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Bad Boy Story hits theaters in Los Angeles and New York on June 23, and will be available on Apple Music on June 25.
