Frances McDormand won the Globe for 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' and everything about her win was appropriately Frances McDormand-y.

Frances McDormand won the Best Actress in a Drama Golden Globe for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri on Sunday and everything about her win was awesomely Frances McDormand-y -- including the fact that she was unnecessarily bleeped three times during her acceptance speech.

"Well, I have a few things to say," McDormand began. "I'm going to keep it short, because we've been here a long time and we need some tequila. All you ladies in this category--" she told Jessica Chastain, Meryl Streep, Michelle Williams and Sally Hawkins. "Bar. Tequila's on me."

This was McDormand's first Globe win (excluding a "Special Award" shared in 1994) and, after accepting the trophy from Angelina Jolie and Isabelle Huppert, she went on to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. "I'm still not quite sure who they are when I run into them for the last 35 years, but I love seeing their faces," she said. "And, let's face it, they managed to elect a female president. I'm just saying."

McDormand also praised director Martin McDonagh (who took home the Best Screenplay Globe as well as Best Motion Picture, Drama) and her co-stars: "If I mention my two favorite cowboys Sam [Rockwell] and Woody [Harrelson] -- cause they are -- then I will have to list the entire cast and crew because everybody brought their best game to this one."

"For instance, I cannot throw a baseball for sh*te, but I managed to get Molotov cocktails from one building to another across a two lane street. That was really fun, but don't try it at home," she laughed, before concluding with a message about the night's emphasis on Time's Up. "Many of you know I keep my politics private, but it was really great to be in this room tonight and to be a part of the tectonic shift in our industry's power structure. Trust me, the women in this room tonight are not here for the food. We are here for the work."
