The Story: More than a decade after Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Depp returns to Hunter S. Thompson territory, drinking about as much rum as Jack Sparrow – without the eyeliner. Johnny plays plays Paul Kemp, a struggling writer who works for a run-down newspaper in Puerto Rico. In between gallons of rum and LSD trips, he looks for romance and gets caught up in some local corruption that doesn't quite sit right with him. Aaron Eckhart, Amber Heard, Richard Jenkins and Giovanni Ribisi co-star.
