All eyes were on Kate Middleton Tuesday, when she made her highly anticipated post-baby debut out of St. Mary's Hospital in London.

And the Duchess of Cambridge definitely didn't disappoint, looking gorgeous in a baby blue, polka-dot Jenny Packham dress. Not surprisingly, the adorable empire waist dress generated a ton of interest with women hoping to take a page from Kate's stellar style, but the flawless frock isn't available for sale -- the British designer created the maternity dress exclusively for her baby reveal.

Jenny Packham brand director Blaire McColl dished toVanity Fairthat the dress seen around the world was made using polka-dotted"crepe de chine" in a cornflower blue, but wasn't allowed to give away too many details other than that it's a "full-on original" -- they have no plans to make it available for sale.

Kate's dress appears to be an obvious nod to Princess Diana's own blue polka-dot shift dress that she wore on the same front steps 31 years ago, with a then baby Prince William in her arms.
