Dunham isn't the only celebrity in Hollywood to wait a bit before losing their virginity. From the Jonas Brothers' promise rings to the "Virgin Quarterback" Tim Tebow, here's a few more stars who've waited.

Sister, Sister star Tamera Mowry-Housley confessed this past July on HOT97NY that she waited until nearly 30 before having sex. "I don't know how to explain this. I'm religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity. You may not understand this [but] I did it, then I felt guilty, then I became celibate until I got married."

Tim Tebow

NFL star Tim Tebow admitted in a press conference that he was in fact a virgin who was waiting until marriage. He was then famously referred to as the "Virgin Quarterback." WATCH.

When Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas showed up on the pop rock scene, they were all wearing promise rings. Joe, then 18, told Details magazine (via Huffington Post) in 2008 that the rings are "promises to ourselves and to God that we'll stay pure till marriage." They've since taken off the accessories, and Kevin has replaced it with an actual wedding ring.

Adriana Lima

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Adriana Lima talked about waiting until she was married to have sex, but she wasn't too excited at first to touch on the subject. "Oh my god, we're going there?" she exclaimed. "You make me blush. I'm shy. I'm shaking now." She later added, "You have to stick up for your beliefs. It's what makes you comfortable, and just follow your own values." The supermodel mom is married to Serbian basketball player Marko Jari.

30 Rock star Tina Fey admitted to David Letterman in 2010 that she didn't lose her virginity until the age of 24. "[I] couldn't give it away," she joked on The Late Show. "That's just good, Christian values, or, being homely."

Jessica Simpson

Before she had two kids with fiance Eric Johnson and even prior to her reality show Newlyweds with former husband Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson had planned on waiting to have sex before marriage. "I promised God, my father, and my future husband that I would remain a virgin until I got married. I just always knew it was something I wanted to do," she told Cosmopolitan magazine.

Rosario Dawson

Though Rosario Dawson's acting career started at age 15 in the racy '90s movie Kids, the actress revealed to The Huffington Post that she sustained from sex as a teenager. "I didn't even have sex until I was 20," she confessed. "My mom was a teenage mom. I was deathly afraid of being a teenage mom."

Rosario isn't the only actress in Hollywood to wait a bit to have sex. From Jessica Simpson waiting until marriage to Lena Dunham writing a newspaper for sex advice, here's a few more stars who've waited.
