PICS: 'The Amazing Race' Contestants Get Salty

The Amazing Race is going strong in season 23, and ET has exclusive pictures from the show's upcoming salty episode.

This season the show once again follows two-person teams as they race across the globe, following clues and facing down challenges, for the chance to win $1 million.

In the challenges pictured here, the teams must pour salt into a pool of fresh water until they are buoyant enough to float in the pool steadily enough to lay back and read a newspaper.

Here, Ashley and Ally, two of the LA Kings' Ice Crew, and Travis and Nicole, a pair of married emergency room doctors, begin adding the salt.
