The biggest and brightest stars from the world of fashion and entertainment gathered Monday night, May 5, in New York City for the 'Charles James: Beyond Fashion' Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A far cry from last year's "Punk Rock" theme, this year's ball was "White Tie," and, as expected by Vogue magazine, brought out lots of '40s and '50s styles.
