Scarlett and husband Romain Dauriac left daughter Rose Dorothy at home for a date night at the 2015 Academy Awards.

Johansson made her first public appearance after giving birth to daughter Rose Dorothy in November 2014, attending the Champions of Rockaway Hurricane Sandy Benefit with twin brother Hunter. 

The actress began dating advertising executive Romain Dauriac in November 2012. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Rose Dorothy, in 2014 and were married in a secret ceremony in October of the same year. 

Despite not physically appearing in Her (she voiced sentient operating system Samantha), Johansson's performance in Spike Jonze's 2013 film earned critical praise and a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Johansson was awarded the title of "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire in 2013. The actress also won the honor in 2006, making her the first woman to win twice.

After separating from husband Ryan Reynolds in December 2010, the actress entered a brief but highly-publicized relationship with actor and activist Sean Penn. The couple dated until June 2011.

Beginning with 2011's Iron Man 2, Johansson has portrayed Russian spy and Avengers team member Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow in several Marvel Universe films, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Johansson began dating actor Ryan Reynolds in 2007 and the couple married in 2008. The private pair kept details of their relationship and marriage secret until announcing their divorce in 2011. 

In 2008, the actress released an album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, featuring Tom Waits cover songs and original material.

The actress starred in Justin Timberlake's 2007 music video for "What Goes Around...Comes Around."

The 2005 drama was the first of Johansson's many collaborations with director Woody Allen.

The actress donned a spider-themed dress for the 2002 premiere of her horror-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.  

Johansson and Thora Birch played teenage outcasts in 2001's Ghost World, a critically-acclaimed adaptation of a graphic novel.

A 14-year-old Johansson starred alongside Robert Redford in the 1998 film The Horse Whisperer. 

One of Johansson's first roles was in the 1996 indie Manny & Lo, for which the young actress was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award.
