You may recognize them now, but these stars were fresh faces when they made appearances on the beloved mother-daughter dramedy.
1 / 21
Jon Hamm

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
Before slipping into one dapper suit after the next on Mad Men, Hamm donned, well, a suit during season three of Gilmore Girls. The actor played Peyton Sanders, the hot guy who bores Lorelai Gilmore during their first date, in the 2002 episode, "Eight O'Clock at the Oasis."
Adam Brody

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
OK, you probably didn't forget about this one. Before leaving the show for a starring role on The O.C., Brody made as all completely envious of Lane Kim, who got to call his lovable character, Dave Rygalski, her boyfriend during season three. We're still sad he left for snowy Stars Hollow for sunny California.
Chad Michael Murray

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
We're honestly a little bummed that Murray's Tristan didn't become one of Rory Gilmore's boyfriends, but alas, the Chilton playboy had to be shipped off to boarding school in the very first season so that the Agent Carter star could star in one season of Dawson's Creek, followed by his breakout role of Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill.
Rami Malek

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
His fellow Bible study members wanted Paster Cho, but the fairly annoying Andy (played by a much curlier-haired Malek) was all about the idea of interviewing Paster Eric during the season four episode, "Clamor and the Clangor." Lane was all about his enthusiasm, as you can see.
Nick Offerman

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
We hold a special place in our hearts for Parks & Recreation's Ron Swanson, but we can't say the same about Offerman's Gilmore Girls character, Beau Belleville, Jackson's sorta skeevy older brother who appeared twice on the series.
Carole King

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
Considering the iconic musician lent her song "Where You Lead" to the opening credits, it was only fitting that she made an appearance on the quirky show. In season six, she appeared as a grumpy singer-turned-music shop owner whom Lane begs to let her play drums in the store.
Krysten Ritter

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
We totally trust the b---- who played Lucy, Rory's artsy Yale pal during the final two seasons of Gilmore Girls. Terrified of the real world, Lucy? So are we. So are we...
Max Greenfield

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
If you think he plays a needy dude on New Girl, then his portrayal as Lucas, one of Dean Forester's buddies at his lame-o bachelor party during season three, will surely remind you that Greenfield could once bro out with the best of them.
Seth MacFarlane

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
The Family Guy creator was a super meanie pants townie who sneers at rich folks and is mean to Lorelai in the season two episode, "Lorelai's Graduation." Don't think we've forgotten, Seth!
Jane Lynch

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
Bless her hair for putting up with the Gilmores -- namely Emily -- as an impressively patient nurse in the 2000 mid-season finale, "Forgiveness and Stuff."
Victoria Justice

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
The future Victorious and Rocky Horror Picture Show star made her acting debut on Gilmore Girls at the ripe old age of 10 as a tiny elf who wasn't a fan of Sookie's birthday party snacks in the season four episode, "The Hobbit, the Sofa, and Digger Stiles."
Abigail Spencer

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
Blink and you'd miss the future Suits and Timeless actress (and Hamm's Mad Men co-star!) as Megan, one of Logan Huntzberger's sister Honor's bridesmaids in the season six episode, "Bridesmaids Revisited."
Arielle Kebbel

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
She most recently wowed as a bombshell on The League and UnREAL, but years earlier, Kebbel had a recurring guest role as Dean's post-Rory rebound-turned-needy wife, Lindsay.
Nasim Pedrad

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
She'd go on to become a Saturday Night Live cast member and have a supporting role on New Girl, but she had an even tinier part than Spencer in "Bridesmaids Revisited" as a waitress who had to deal with a very sad Rory.
Ben Falcone

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
Melissa McCarthy's real-life husband turned up as Mr. Brink, a family member of Fran's who helps execute her will after the beloved townie's death in season three -- a will which included the Dragonfly Inn, the bed-and-breakfast Lorelai and Sookie were desperate to own.
Riki Lindhome

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
Now she serenades us one half of the comedy music duo Garfunkel and Oates, but when she was first starting out, she made two appearances on Gilmore Girls. The first was one of the Stars Hollow High School students who asked Lorelai a question when the mom came in to talk to students about her job in season three. Lindhome then returned in seasons five and six as Juliet, a very hungry member of the Life and Death Brigade, the same group that Rory's boyfriend, Logan, belonged to.
Melora Hardin

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
Are you starting to feel like Gilmore Girls was just a breeding ground for The O.C.'s casting department? Yeah, we can't blame you. The Office star appeared as Carolyn Bates, the nice lady Emily Gilmore tries to set Lorelai's ex Christopher up with, in the season six episode, "Partings."
Brandon Routh

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
Before he stole hearts as Superman, Routh played a dude named Jess (how could they not come up with another name, honestly?) who barely had a line but definitely was the hottie of the party Rory's high school pals ran off to in the 2001 episode "Concert Interruptions." We mean, look at that face... Of course he was.
Danny Pudi

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
We know you want to forget about season seven, but at least it let the Community star pop up as Raj, one of Rory's fellow Yale Daily News homies.
Alex Borstein

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
The MADtv star was clearly beloved by the Gilmore Girls family -- she made appearances as two characters and voiced even more! Though she was originally cast as Lorelai's BFF Sookie St. James, that role famously went to Melissa McCarthy, and Borstein was on-camera as Drella, the Independence Inn's harpist, during season one, and as Emily's Old Hollywood stylist, Miss Celine, in 2003 and 2005.
Masi Oka

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
He'd go on to star in Heroes, but he was just an unnamed philosophy student who Rory debated with after sneaking into a Harvard lecture in the season two episode, "The Road Trip to Harvard."
