New Movies on DVD & Blu-ray: February 24

In this hilarious cross-country sex comedy, "Kyle XY" star Josh Zuckerman plays Ian Lafferty, an 18-year-old student who sets out to meet the girl of his dreams in order to lose his virginity. The hitch? They've never met, she thinks he's a ripped football stud who benches 300 pounds and he works at the mall at a donut shop dressed up as the company mascot. Setting off in his older brother Rex's ('X-Men' star James Marsden) prized vintage Pontiac GTO, Lafferty has to drive 500 miles from Chicago to Knoxville to consummate the deal. Also starring Amanda Crew and Seth Green as a cooler than cool Amish dude.

Special features include both the theatrical and unrated versions of the movie.

The final 'Futurama' straight-to-DVD/Blu-ray film finds the Planet Express gang facing ancient forces of darkness, three years older than time itself, returning to wreak destruction -- and Fry is the last hope of the universe, so don't hold your breath! Snoop Dogg, illusionist Penn Jillette and "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane lend their voices to this hilarious entry of the futuristic animated comedy.

Special features include filmmaker commentary, deleted scenes, storyboard animatics, "How to Draw Futurama in 10 Very Difficult Steps," "Bender's Movie Theater Etiquette" and more, while the Blu-ray also includes In-Picture commentary by creator Matt Groening and co.

Gene Hackman is back as hard-nosed New York detective Popeye Doyle in the action-packed follow-up to the Oscar-winning 'The French Connection,' now on Blu-ray for the first time! Director John Frankenheimer ('The Manchurian Candidate,' 'Ronin') picks up the reins from director William Friedkin in this story that takes the action overseas to Marseilles, where Doyle is on the trail of the one drug trafficker that eluded him in New York.

Noah Wyle is saving the world with a third installment of his hit 'Librarian' series. This time, Noah's overworked Flynn Carsen heads to New Orleans for a little R&R, instead finding himself tasked with rescuing a professor (Bruce Davison) and fending off bad guys intent on using the silver chalice (given to Judas for betraying Jesus) to resurrect Prince Vlad Dracul himself and raise an army of vampires.

Special features include deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes featurette, visual effects sequences and deleted scenes.

A year after collaborating on Mike Nichols' 'Heartburn,' Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep reunite for 1987's 'Ironweed' -- now out for the first time ever on DVD. Directed by Hector Babenco ('Kiss of the Spider Woman') and nominated for two Academy Awards (for both stars' performances), the film is based on William Kennedy's Pulitzer Prize-winning depression-era novel about a drunken former baseball player and his longtime girlfriend -- and drinking partner -- running away from their tragic pasts.

Robert De Niro plays a movie producer just trying to make it through the day in this Tinseltown comedy. Based on Hollywood producer Art Linson's bestselling memoir, the film chronicles the adventures of a middle-aged producer caught between his estranged wife, clever kids, childish directors, stubborn actors and the unflinching studio executives who will settle for nothing less than mediocrity in order to get a movie made. Directed by Barry Levinson (who previously paired with De Niro for the political comedy 'Wag the Dog'), the film also stars Robin Wright Penn, Catherine Keener, Stanley Tucci, John Turturro, Bruce Willis and Kristen Stewart.
